Writer

Aaron is a writer with credits in fiction & documentary, and has broadcast credits for Executive TV programmes examining digitisation of the public & private sectors that have aired on Sky international business channels.

He is currently working with co-writer Caroline Sax to develop a returning historical drama for television.

Aaron is an accomplished multi-disciplinary filmmaker, working both as a freelancer and in-house for production companies. His work spans artist film, documentary, drama and includes roles as camera operator, producer, assistant, director, assistant director, sound recordist and editor.

Clients include 21st Century Fox, Mayflower Theatre, John Hansard Gallery, Opera UpClose, Artful Scribe, Turner Sims, Solent University, University of Southampton & many more!

Aaron has amassed a large portfolio of work, photographing live events & behind the scenes for many clients that include Mayflower Theatre, John Hansard Gallery, Solent Growth Partners, City Eye, Blue Apple Theatre, Communities Against Cancer & more!

City Eye

Aaron is Head of Production at City Eye, a film charity in Southampton.

As well as leading on the organisation's various projects & productions, Aaron mentors aspiring filmmakers and teaches students taking part in City Eye's BFI Film Academy Short Course.

City Eye is an important network for filmmakers living in the south-central region, UK.

DV Mission

The DVMISSION 48-Hour Film Challenge has been inspiring filmmakers for the last twenty years. Teams are given a film ‘genre, title and line of dialogue’ at 5.00pm on Friday night. They then have just 48-hours to return on Sunday with a finished two-minute film.

City Eye has recently taken the reigns of DV Mission. Aaron has taken part in the competition for 11 years and is now working with his colleagues to deliver subsequent events.

Alver & Lea

Alver & Lea is the production company behind The Straight & Narrow, originally created by Aaron & filmmaker Oliver Perry in 2017. They are currently working to remaster the film in time for its 10th Anniversary in 2027.
